Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for accounting and financial workflows.
• Own, prioritize, communicate, and promote the accounting product roadmap to IT and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with accounting, IT, engineering, data teams, and vendors to find opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and improved user experience.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting processes (e.g., Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Tax).
• Significant product ownership/management experience in accounting systems.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically from long-term vision to daily delivery.
• Experience driving systems implementations or transformations across multiple accounting process areas (ideally in SaaS environments).
• Hands-on ability to apply AI in real business workflows (not only conceptual familiarity).
• Strong judgment to validate AI outputs, manage risk, and maintain ownership of decisions.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams, including cross-functional/cross-cultural settings.
• Knowledge of Agile and iterative product development.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Experience level

• 15+ years product management experience, including 4+ years in a product role within a global organization.
