Join Pinterest as a Senior Staff Product Owner (Accounting Systems) in the IT Enterprise Systems team. You will define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for accounting and finance systems and workflows, balancing user needs with business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for accounting and financial workflows.
- Own, prioritize, communicate, and promote the accounting product roadmap to IT and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with accounting, IT, engineering, data teams, and vendors to find opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and improved user experience.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting processes (e.g., Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Tax).
- Significant product ownership/management experience in accounting systems.
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically from long-term vision to daily delivery.
- Experience driving systems implementations or transformations across multiple accounting process areas (ideally in SaaS environments).
- Hands-on ability to apply AI in real business workflows (not only conceptual familiarity).
- Strong judgment to validate AI outputs, manage risk, and maintain ownership of decisions.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams, including cross-functional/cross-cultural settings.
- Knowledge of Agile and iterative product development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Experience level
- 15+ years product management experience, including 4+ years in a product role within a global organization.
