Senior Staff Product Designer, Risk

Role Overview

Senior Staff Product Designer for Stripe’s Risk team (remote, anywhere in the world). You will lead design across critical risk experiences—helping businesses onboard, stay compliant, and manage risk with clarity and confidence—while shaping the future of risk as an evolving product pillar.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of Risk design across core user journeys and new product surfaces.
• Design experiences that enable users to onboard quickly, stay compliant, and manage risk with control.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, policy, operations, and research to identify near-term improvements and long-term opportunities.
• Lead design on complex, cross-functional problems with multiple stakeholders and constraints.
• Raise the craft bar for design in a domain where trust and quality are essential.
• Collaborate across many teams to create consistent patterns for risk and compliance experiences.
• Help other designers and partners raise design standards and adopt systems thinking.
