Role: Senior Staff Product Designer (Risk)

You’ll join Stripe’s Risk team, designing user-facing experiences that help businesses get started on Stripe, stay compliant, and grow with confidence.

What you’ll do

• Shape the future of Risk across core user journeys and new product surfaces
• Design trust-building experiences for onboarding, verification, compliance, and account health
• Define product strategy through design: influence near-term improvements and longer-term opportunities
• Create AI-driven and agent-friendly workflows as part of new product creation
• Raise the craft bar in a domain where quality and trust are critical
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, policy, operations, and research
• Lead complex cross-functional problems with multiple stakeholders and constraints
• Develop and scale design standards/patterns across many teams; support systems thinking

Responsibilities

• Explore, shape, and prototype new ideas and products
• Influence strategy using strong product thinking, storytelling, and design judgment
• Lead design for complex cross-functional work across stakeholder constraints
• Collaborate to influence visual standards across product surfaces
• Help other Risk designers and partners improve craft and adopt systems thinking
