Senior/Staff Product Designer (Growth)

Role Overview

Senior/Staff Product Designer (Growth) at Runway (full remote). Own critical growth product surfaces, turn business goals into design hypotheses, and collaborate closely with product and engineering to ship experiments and scale the winners.

Key Missions

• Own growth-critical surfaces (pricing pages, payment walls, upgrade invites, and payment flows) from concept through experimentation.
• Translate business goals (e.g., increasing recurring revenue/ARR, expansion revenue growth, reducing churn) into design hypotheses and interface improvements.
• Work with growth engineering and product teams to ship experiments quickly and convert winning experiments into permanent product surfaces.
• Contribute to visual and interaction consistency and mentor other designers.

Requirements

• Comfortable taking on unfamiliar product areas rather than only working on previously assigned modules.
• Experience designing user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web products with strong visual design skills.
• Ability to iterate fast and frequently.
• Experience delivering and iterating quickly in close collaboration with engineering and product.
• Comfortable running and interpreting quantitative experiments (not only delivering a single “best” design).

Nice to Have

• Artistic/creative strengths, especially video/audio editing, icon/typography design, illustration.
• Experience with functional prototypes using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
• Knowledge of the creative tool space.
• Proven experience designing revenue-linked product surfaces and connecting design work to ARR, conversion, or expansion revenue outcomes.
