Senior SRE

Role Overview

LiveRamp is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and improve global product deployments and provide first-line operational support. The role focuses on establishing SRE best practices, strengthening reliability and observability, and partnering closely with Engineering and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or own deployments of global products, including setting up production and internal environments
• Provide 24/7 first-line engineering support across regions (follow-the-sun)
• Drive resolutions for core product issues with Engineering teams
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and product reliability
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD tooling and Terraform scripts (in collaboration with DevOps)
• Build and maintain engineering operational documentation and establish product SRE practices
• Optimize performance and cost, including right-sizing Kubernetes containers
• Work on operational aspects for products using real-time and NoSQL databases

Requirements

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• CI/CD pipeline experience building declarative pipelines in Jenkins or CircleCI
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and public clouds (GCP or AWS)
• Experience deploying and monitoring highly scalable products
• Hands-on FinOps and Kubernetes autoscaling
• Python or Go
• Ability to diagnose problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks
• Experience securing systems in a public cloud environment
• Demonstrated stakeholder and collaboration skills with other engineers

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of observability principles and SRE best practices
• Experience with real-time and NoSQL databases (e.g., SingleStoreDB, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
• Ability to lead and mentor other engineers on SRE best practices
