Senior Solutions Engineer, Pressable

Role Overview

Join Pressable, a managed WordPress hosting provider, as a Senior Solutions Engineer. You’ll lead the technical pre-sales process, partner with sales teams, and represent Pressable within the WordPress community.

Key Missions

• Own technical pre-sales end-to-end: discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, technical proposals, and migration planning for prospective customers.
• Partner with Sales and Automattic teams (including Woo and A4A) to support strategic opportunities and act as a trusted technical advisor to prospect developer teams, IT/operations, and leadership.
• Design and implement a scalable pre-sales engagement model by creating reusable assets, such as:
  • demo environments
  • standard performance benchmarks
  • technical qualification frameworks
  • enable Account Executives to close standard deals with minimal SE intervention

Requirements

• Experience owning or leading technical pre-sales activities (discovery, solution design, demos, proposals, and migration planning).
• Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to developers, IT/operations, and leadership.
• Strong understanding of WordPress hosting/architecture to support scalable customer engagements.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building reusable sales/SE assets (benchmarks, qualification frameworks, demo environments).
• Familiarity with the wider WordPress ecosystem and related Automattic products/communities.
