About the role

Role Overview

Join ConductorOne as a Senior Solutions Engineer. You’ll help drive customer adoption and success by delivering technical expertise and architecting secure, scalable identity and access management (IAM) solutions as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers.

Key Missions

Serve as a trusted advisor on identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control strategies.
Architect and deliver solutions across IGA, IAM, CIEM, and PAM, translating business requirements into scalable identity architectures.
Lead workshops, whiteboard sessions, and demos that highlight the value of identity automation, access governance, and Zero Trust.
Stay current with industry trends and integration approaches.

Responsibilities

Run deep technical conversations with engineers and communicate business value to stakeholders.
Design integration strategies and support customer/partner engagements.
Build or enable automation, including custom connectors for SaaS and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

Strong understanding of authentication/authorization frameworks, including MFA, step-up authentication, conditional access, least privilege, and Zero Trust.
8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or identity architecture (or equivalent hands-on IAM/IGA experience).
Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences.
Ability and willingness to travel for customer meetings, partner events, or conferences.
Comfort with Go, APIs/SDKs, JSON/YAML, scripting/automation.
Practical familiarity with Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
Hands-on cloud experience with:
- AWS IAM / IAM Identity Center
- GCP IAM
- Azure AD / role-based access models, including governance via IGA.
Practical knowledge of directory services such as Okta, Entra ID, LDAP, Google Workspace, and on-prem AD.
Ability to quickly explain access review flows (e.g., on a whiteboard).

Nice-to-Haves

Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, AWS, Azure, GCP).
Enjoys translating complex IAM errors into clear, actionable customer explanations.
Experience building custom connectors or automations for SaaS apps and cloud infra.
