Role overview

Senior Solutions Architect, Growth is a strategic, customer-facing position focused on driving technical adoption and expansion within a developer-focused ecosystem. You will serve as a trusted advisor to engineering teams, bridging business needs and technical solutions to help customers maximize value from the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective and existing customers to assess application fit and guide adoption in complex environments.
  • Educate stakeholders on platform capabilities, benefits, and limitations; provide architectural recommendations.
  • Build relationships with engineering leaders and key decision-makers to drive long-term adoption and expansion.
  • Partner with account executives to develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to business goals.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Support customers in building, deploying, and scaling production applications with reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Position the platform against alternative architectures via competitive analysis and technical differentiation.
  • Feed customer insights back to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap and features.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in solutions architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting in cloud or distributed systems environments.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems design, application architecture, and modern development practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Go, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP (including ability to build prototypes).
  • Experience with major cloud providers and familiarity with cloud-native services and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of production requirements: scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales teams on deal strategy, scoping, and technical validation.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with developer-focused platforms, open-source ecosystems, or workflow orchestration technologies.

  • Competitive total compensation $200,000–$250,000 USD (base plus variable components).
