Senior Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales), Remote – UK

Role Overview

Senior Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) (covering UKI) You’ll be the technical bridge between the Boomi platform and client needs. Working closely with sales, you’ll own the technical solution for each customer and craft tailored strategies for both technical architects and C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & scoping: Run discovery calls, meetings, and workshops to understand business and technical requirements across integration, API management, and automation; capture feedback to shape solution design and monitor satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Solution design & proof: Design tailored solutions on the Boomi platform, including:
  • integration and automation (e.g., data integration and managed file transfer)
  • API management
  • event-driven and streaming architectures
  • AI/agentic and GenAI-powered automation capabilities
  • deliver demos and PoCs aligned to client needs and integration best practices (API governance and data management).
• Platform expertise & advisory: Act as the Boomi platform expert, advising clients on aligning integration, API management, and AI/agentic capabilities to business goals.
• Stakeholder leadership: Translate complex technical concepts (e.g., API management, AI orchestration, integration architecture) for non-technical stakeholders; lead technical discussions and mentor junior consultants.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise integration solutioning and pre-sales/consultative technical roles (discovery, solution design, demos/PoCs).
• Strong technical depth across one or more of: integration, API management, automation, event-driven/streaming, and AI-driven integration/orchestration.
• Ability to operate in large enterprise environments and manage both business-level and deep technical conversations.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI-driven integration, agentic/GenAI automation, and emerging API strategy trends.
