Senior Solution Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Solution Engineer reporting to the Senior Director, Solutions Engineering, you will drive business development and sales growth by delivering technical expertise for the OneTrust AI-ready governance platform. You’ll support prospective customers with solution evaluation, demonstrations, and integration-focused proof-of-concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert during major sales opportunities, including:
  • Preparing and delivering proposals
  • Running product demonstrations
  • Supporting RFPs
  • Leading custom proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations to demonstrate integration capabilities
• Participate in technical deep-dive discussions to architect integrations and advise on best practices.
• Support sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options.
• Coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner integrations teams to stay current on product capabilities and future direction.
• Use and apply knowledge of the privacy industry (including the regulatory environment), trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (ideally in technology and/or enterprise cloud software).
• Proven expertise in selling/configuring software and delivering software demonstrations.
• Experience implementing software solutions for enterprise companies.
• Ability to build relationships across R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-evolving environment.
• German fluency required.
• Willingness to travel (~10%).

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS; PowerShell, ASP.NET, and C# are a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming.
