About the role

Role overview

Join SailPoint as a Senior Solution Architect and act as the technical lead on customer projects. You’ll deepen your understanding of SailPoint’s SaaS/software solutions, guide technical delivery, and help customers and partners adopt product architecture and best practices.

Key responsibilities

Serve as technical lead on customer projects, using strong communication and industry knowledge to share best practices.
Gather customer use cases and document requirements based on the product, producing recommended solution designs.
Develop and deliver technical training to educate and enable SailPoint implementation partners.
Support technical delivery of solutions.

Requirements

Experience with software development, implementation, and configuration.
Front-end language experience with HTML, CSS, Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Hands-on knowledge of directory technologies such as LDAP/AD.
Backend/scripting and integration experience with Java, BeanShell, Node.js, JavaScript.
Familiarity with XML, SPML/SOAP, and web/application servers.
Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP or service management (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow).
Client and partner-facing communication skills.
7+ years professional experience in enterprise software, systems integration, or consulting; 5+ years software implementation experience.
Experience with one or more of:
- Operating systems: Windows and/or Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX)
- Relational databases: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL
- NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis
- Cloud IaaS: AWS, Azure, GCP

Nice-to-haves

Identity Governance vendor experience (e.g., Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell).
IIQ experience.
AI/machine learning concepts.
Project management experience (planning, scope, schedule, status, resource management).
RBAC/least-privileged access knowledge.
Quality assurance experience (usability/performance/automated testing; test plans/cases/scripts).
Security software or IT audit experience.
J2EE certification and/or CISSP.
SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect certification (expected within 12 months of hire).

Education

Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
