About the role

Role Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager for NVIDIA’s Compiler Development team. You will drive delivery of up-to-date compiler technology to developers and ensure successful product releases through strong cross-functional program leadership in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Drive software programs and related processes end-to-end.
Lead multi-functional teams in a matrix organization to deliver projects on time.
Manage projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Present program status to multi-functional teams and executive management.
Define and implement process development/improvement initiatives for the compiler organization.
Work independently with minimal mentorship and influence stakeholders effectively.
Coordinate with global partners across time zones and geographies to define work, report status, and deliver to expectations.
Establish efficient and accountable development environments through process improvements.
Ensure escalation is followed when work product execution is at risk.
Break down sophisticated initiatives into manageable tasks, milestones, and landmarks.

Requirements

BS (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8+ years in a similar or related technical program management role.
Strong software engineering/technical background; ability to investigate technical issues.
Knowledge of operating systems and software development standards/methodologies.
Compilers knowledge is highly valued.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong risk management, tracking/monitoring, meeting facilitation, time management, and problem-solving.
Detail-oriented multitasker and creative problem solver who can resolve conflicting priorities.

Nice to Have

Experience with Open Source ecosystems; LLVM upstream contributions and repository mirroring/unification.
Knowledge of compilers, GPU, CUDA, and AI.
Experience crafting new workflows/processes across teams.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira or MS Project.
Tool automation experience is a plus.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
