About the role

Role Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager for NVIDIA’s Compiler Development team. You will drive delivery of up-to-date compiler technology to developers and ensure successful product releases through strong cross-functional program leadership in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive software programs and related processes end-to-end.
  • Lead multi-functional teams in a matrix organization to deliver projects on time.
  • Manage projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Present program status to multi-functional teams and executive management.
  • Define and implement process development/improvement initiatives for the compiler organization.
  • Work independently with minimal mentorship and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Coordinate with global partners across time zones and geographies to define work, report status, and deliver to expectations.
  • Establish efficient and accountable development environments through process improvements.
  • Ensure escalation is followed when work product execution is at risk.
  • Break down sophisticated initiatives into manageable tasks, milestones, and landmarks.

Requirements

  • BS (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years in a similar or related technical program management role.
  • Strong software engineering/technical background; ability to investigate technical issues.
  • Knowledge of operating systems and software development standards/methodologies.
  • Compilers knowledge is highly valued.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong risk management, tracking/monitoring, meeting facilitation, time management, and problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented multitasker and creative problem solver who can resolve conflicting priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Open Source ecosystems; LLVM upstream contributions and repository mirroring/unification.
  • Knowledge of compilers, GPU, CUDA, and AI.
  • Experience crafting new workflows/processes across teams.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira or MS Project.
  • Tool automation experience is a plus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
