About the role

Role Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager for NVIDIA’s Compiler Development team, responsible for driving cross-functional delivery of up-to-date compilers and successful product releases. You will lead programs in a matrixed environment, distilling complex work into milestones and coordinating execution across global teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive software programs, processes, and delivery planning
Lead multi-functional teams in a matrix organization to deliver projects on time
Manage projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Provide authoritative project status updates to cross-functional teams and executives
Independently own execution and influence with minimal mentorship
Coordinate with global partners across time zones and technical domains
Improve and develop processes to create an efficient, accountable development environment
Follow escalation processes when delivery risks emerge
Translate sophisticated initiatives into manageable tasks, landmarks, and actionable plans

What We Need To See

BS (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
8+ years in a similar or related program/technical program management role
Strong software engineering background and technical problem investigation skills
Knowledge of operating systems and software development methodologies; compiler knowledge highly valued
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
Strong risk management, tracking/monitoring, meeting facilitation, time management, and problem-solving
Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking and resolving conflicting priorities

Ways to Stand Out

Experience with Open Source ecosystems and challenges
LLVM upstream contributions and experience with repository mirroring/unification
Compiler/GPU/CUDA/AI knowledge
Experience building workflow processes across teams
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and MS Project
Plus: tool automation supporting the role
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
