Senior Software QA Engineer

Role Overview

Join Qualifyze as a Senior Software QA Engineer to lead QA efforts for web applications. You will build test strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure quality, performance, and scalability through manual and automated testing.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts and develop test strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications.
• Automate testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Identify, track, and manage defects.
• Conduct performance and load testing to validate scalability.
• Stay up to date with QA methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• +5 years of experience with test automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright, and JUnit.
• Strong experience with manual testing and test documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of Git (version control).
• API testing experience with tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and experience with web performance testing tools like JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Proven ability to lead QA projects and teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and testing in cloud environments.
• ISTQB (or similar) certification.
