Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) focused on the technical implementation of a cross-platform React Native mobile application at large scale.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical implementation of a cross-platform React Native application, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Architect and design modular mobile applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and debug issues across the mobile app.

Requirements

• TypeScript expert-level programming experience.
• 5+ years mobile application development experience.
• Strong React Native experience (5+ years).
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform fundamentals.
• Experience architecting and designing modular mobile applications at scale.
• Strong Redux experience, including Redux Saga and complex state management patterns.
• Experience architecting/designing large-scale, scalable systems.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to difficult problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or technical field) or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Master’s degree or PhD.
• Expo and EAS (OTA updates/build management).
• Redux Toolkit, Reselect, and memoization strategies.
• Offline-first architecture and persistence with Redux Persist.
• Native module development experience in Swift and Kotlin.
• Fastlane for CI/CD and app store deployment.
• Hardware integrations (e.g., printers, barcode scanners, GPS tracking).
• React Navigation and complex navigation architectures.
• Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
• styled-components and mobile design systems.
• Geolocation and mapping with React Native Maps and Turf.js.
• Payment SDKs such as Braintree.
• Push notification systems such as Pushwoosh.
