Role overview

You will be a Senior Software Engineer with an SRE background at Dynatrace, enhancing the company’s cloud observability product. The role combines cloud reliability engineering practices with software engineering to deliver high-quality telemetry ingestion and platform evolution.

Responsibilities

• Use SRE experience to improve Dynatrace’s cloud observability product and build tailored solutions for users.
• Ensure best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP integrations for efficient ingestion of cloud telemetry data.
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the evolution of the platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering decisions with product strategy.

Requirements

• Strong SRE background relevant to operating and improving cloud systems.
• Proven experience working with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP integrations for telemetry/observability.
• Ability to contribute to architecture and deliver platform improvements in collaboration with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building or scaling observability/telemetry ingestion pipelines and improving dataset quality.
