Senior Software Engineer (Trust and Third Party Risk Management)

Role overview

Join Vanta’s Trust & Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team as a Senior Software Engineer. You’ll build full-stack product experiences and the data infrastructure that help enterprises manage vendor risk at scale, owning a rapidly growing product area.

Key missions & responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features that directly shape how customers manage vendor relationships.
• Contribute to clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and engage in architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver high-quality, customer-focused features.
• Support team efforts across the Supplier Lifecycle Management and/or Supplier Monitoring areas.
• Take ownership of execution and impact within the TPRM product domain.

Requirements

• Strong collaboration skills; able to partner across product, design, and engineering.
• Solid understanding of databases and REST or GraphQL API design.
• 5+ years professional software engineering experience with full-stack or product-focused development.
• Experience shipping production-quality web applications in a fast-paced environment.
• Openness to using AI to improve efficiency and impact, including responsible application.

Nice to have

• Experience building with AI agents, LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic), or evaluation frameworks—especially for Vendor Lifecycle roles.
• Strong TypeScript/React proficiency or backend development experience with Node.js.
