About the role

Role Overview

Join Elastic as a Senior Software Engineer (SSC) working on human and agents onboarding for Elastic Cloud. You’ll be a full-stack engineer, shaping the backend and frontend of onboarding and trial experiences and helping build scalable features and APIs.

Responsibilities

Build the backend and frontend for product onboarding and trial experiences
Design and implement scalable features and APIs
Collaborate with PMs and designers to plan, design, and deliver onboarding/trial capabilities
Integrate cloud and Kibana onboarding flows
Implement agentic interfaces for onboarding and trial experiences
Develop data evolution strategies to handle schema changes without breaking compatibility

Requirements

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Proficiency with RESTful APIs and async programming
Experience with Node.js server frameworks such as Hapi and Next.js
Ability to plan, design, implement, and lead projects independently
Strong frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
Comfortable with Git and collaborative code workflows
Strong React and JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Experience deploying and operating software in production
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx)
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch
Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana
Experience with Kubernetes

Full remote (Madrid, ES listed as location)
