About the role
Role overview
As a Senior Software Engineer (Scala) — Market Gateway, you will build and evolve the Market Gateway product. The platform enables clients to communicate with other companies using regulated message formats and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the Market Gateway offering.
- Design and develop new features for the Market Gateway product in collaboration with the Tech Lead and Product Manager.
- Support operations by responding to incidents, triaging bugs, and implementing fixes.
- Deploy and continuously monitor the product.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production software with Scala.
- Ability to design and deliver features for a backend/platform product.
- Experience supporting production systems (incident response, debugging, deployments/monitoring).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with regulated protocols/message formats or similar domain-specific integrations.
