Role overview

Senior Software Engineer (Full-time, Remote) at Distru. You’ll shape and deliver high-impact, mission-critical full-stack workflows across the product, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, design, implementation, and testing of mission-critical full-stack features
• Deliver end-to-end projects with product managers, designers, and customer support
• Communicate progress and proactively share status updates across the organization
• Balance speed and quality, using AI tooling to ship faster without lowering standards
• Build features across product areas, including how AI fits into real user workflows

Potential feature areas

• AI-native features: AI agents for order/purchase intake, smart product matching, and systems that learn from feedback
• Distru Commerce: storefronts, ordering, and buyer-seller workflows across the supply chain
• Manufacturing: production, assembly, and inventory from raw inputs to finished goods
• Distribution: order/fulfillment/logistics between businesses
• Cultivation: tools for growers, including mobile workflows for field/floor work
• Compliance: audit-ready reporting, traceability, and integrations with state systems

Requirements

• Ability to take ownership of complex product features across the full stack
• Experience delivering and testing production-quality software
• Strong collaboration with engineering, product, design, and customer-facing teams

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with ERP, supply chain workflows, or domain knowledge in cannabis operations
• Experience building AI/automation features integrated into user workflows
