Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Regal Cloud is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (IAM + AI) for a 14-week contract starting April 13. This is a greenfield build of a next-generation Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform powered by AI workflows/agent-driven systems for a high-security financial environment.

What You’ll Work With

• Microservices architecture and gRPC
• PostgreSQL and Redis
• IAM systems covering authentication (authN) and authorization (authZ)
• AI workflows / agent-driven systems

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver core backend systems for secure, scalable identity automation
• Build distributed systems from scratch in a greenfield context
• Support IAM platform capabilities for authN/authZ in a high-security environment

Requirements

• Senior-level backend engineering experience
• Experience building distributed systems from the ground up
• Go experience

Nice-to-Haves

• IAM/identity provider experience (e.g., Okta, Auth0)

• Remote: Central or Eastern time zones
• Contract start: April 13
• Duration: 14 weeks
