Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

RediMinds is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join its distributed remote team across the United States. The role focuses on architecting and building end-to-end web applications—from frontend experiences to backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build full-stack web applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases with scalability and maintainability in mind.
• Mentor and collaborate with product managers, AI/ML engineers, QA, designers, and business stakeholders.
• Lead technical discussions and drive engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architecture decisions.
• Translate complex business requirements and workflows into elegant, scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Own AI-enabled integrations and document processing / automation workflows and internal platforms.
• Drive debugging and testing and continuously improve applications for quality and performance at scale.
• Lead code reviews, contribute to sprint planning, and own release strategy while mentoring other engineers.
• Improve engineering practices and tooling, including documentation and development workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed/remote teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience (3–7 years preferred; Senior Engineer or equivalent) with full-stack web development at scale.
• Production-grade frontend experience with React (or similar modern stacks).
• Production backend experience with Node.js, Python, Flask/FastAPI, Express (or similar).
• Strong database design and optimization across SQL and NoSQL/document stores and understanding of selecting the right datastore.
• Experience architecting scalable cloud solutions.
• Solid understanding of microservices, scaling (horizontal/vertical), and parallelization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) at scale.
• Experience with monitoring tooling, including metrics and logging strategies.
• Expertise with version control, release processes, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows.
• Production experience with CI/CD tooling and practices using GitHub Actions, Docker, and container/orchestration and deployment pipelines.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, systems thinking, and communication skills.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder authorized to work in the United States.

• Strong project management skills and ability to communicate/negotiatate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to design systems that meet stakeholder needs.
