Senior Software Engineer (React)

Role Overview

Join PrizePicks’ Martech team as a Senior Software Engineer (Software Engineer III) with strong TypeScript and React skills. You’ll build internal tooling and platforms that power promotional and partner programs, including:

• Back-office systems for promotion creation and issuance
• Integrations for campaign delivery (e.g., Braze)
• An affiliate partner platform for tracking performance and processing payouts

Responsibilities

• Own feature development end-to-end (technical design through delivery), especially internal promotion tooling and partner management.
• Write high-quality TypeScript/React code that is clean, performant, and well-tested.
• Build and maintain third-party integrations (e.g., Braze, Appsflyer), including understanding data contracts and targeting/delivery workflows.
• Develop the affiliate partner platform, including onboarding, performance tracking, attribution, and payout workflows.
• Contribute to architecture across internal app patterns, data modeling, API design, and integration strategies.
• Improve reliability, data accuracy, UI performance, and developer experience for internal tools.
• Guide junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design feedback.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships to turn operational needs into build plans.
• Participate in on-call rotation and help with incident response, root cause analysis, and systemic improvements.
• Document technical decisions including data models and integration patterns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Meaningful experience building React web applications, ideally internal tools/admin platforms/operational dashboards
• Strong TypeScript and React expertise

Nice to Have

• Occasional experience with React Native (mobile touchpoints for promotional surfaces)
