Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Senior to Staff Software Engineer (Remote, U.S.) to lead development on Raydar’s core platform. You will ship production code from day one, own features end-to-end, and help build the infrastructure powering the future of home lending.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and launch complex, multi-step AI agents that automate mortgage operations workflows
• Integrate with third-party lending APIs for:
  • document generation
  • automated underwriting
  • fraud prevention
• Architect and scale job processing infrastructure on AWS
• Develop full-stack features from design through deployment
• Contribute to a reliable, observable, low-maintenance infrastructure

Required Qualifications (Must-haves)

• Strong hands-on TypeScript/JavaScript skills building complex systems
• Proven ability to ship real products end-to-end
• Experience building full-stack web features in a fast-moving environment
• AWS infrastructure experience
• Ability to design and scale complex relational database schemas
• SRE mindset with focus on reliability, observability, and low operational overhead
• Visa sponsorship not available (visa transfers accepted)

Nice-to-haves

• AI product development experience (e.g., evals, experiment design, dataset curation)
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems
• Active GitHub profile
