About the role

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Platform) at Omada Health. You will design, build, and maintain the platform systems and infrastructure that enable the company’s mission, partnering with Platform Engineering and internal stakeholders across product engineering, InfoSec, and IT.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain systems and infrastructure supporting Omada’s mission
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs and deliver solutions that improve teams’ working lives
Mentor and guide professional and technical development of team members
Maintain and enhance CI/CD infrastructure
Work directly with stakeholders to design solutions and drive technical decisions
Participate in on-call rotation (“run towards fires”)

Requirements

5+ years designing and building AWS cloud architectures
Experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting persistent virtual Linux hosts and volumes
Experience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure (including GitLab)
Experience with Terraform and Ansible
Experience building, deploying, and orchestrating Docker images/containers
Experience with Kubernetes clusters
Experience with Datadog (APM, custom metrics, logs)
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience writing Go (Golang)
Experience managing self-hosted GitLab
Experience working in the healthcare industry
Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice-to-Haves / Desired

Experience with modern technologies including EKS, Terraform, Datadog, and GitLab
Enjoys Agile, test-driven development, pair programming, and continuous delivery environments
Experience in managing Kubernetes and operational excellence
