About the role

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer for SentiLink’s Platform/Backend team. You will build and enhance an API platform that powers the company’s products, partnering with product, engineering, and security to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.

Responsibilities

Own a major section of the codebase and provide technical guidance and direction for your team
Design and build a suite of API-based decisioning products
Write, test, debug, document, and maintain platform and product services using established engineering standards
Partner with product management to support agile delivery of existing and new products
Ensure quality via unit, dependency, integration, and end-to-end automated tests
Troubleshoot and resolve production and product issues
Help ensure services meet SLA requirements, including participating in an on-call rotation

Requirements

6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products
Experience building API-based products using Python, Golang, or similar technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with:
- Relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and writing efficient queries
- Docker and AWS services
- Fintech or financial services domain
- Scrum/Agile development environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and live in the United States
