Role overview

As a Senior Software Engineer (Platform/Backend) at SentiLink, you will build and enhance an API platform that powers the company’s products. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and security teams to deploy scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.

Responsibilities

Own a large section of the codebase
Lead technical direction and provide guidance to ensure alignment with project goals and industry best practices
Design and build API-based decisioning products
Develop end-to-end: code, test, debug, document, and maintain platform and product features
Write automated tests (unit, dependency, integration, end-to-end) to meet quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues as they arise
Ensure services meet SLA requirements, including on-call rotation for production issues
Work with product management to drive Agile delivery for existing and new products

Requirements

6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products
Experience building API-based products using Python, Go (Golang), or similar technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with:
- RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queries
- Docker and AWS technologies
- Fintech or financial services
- Scrum/Agile development environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and live in the United States
