Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to translate requirements into sound technical solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly for coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Follow and promote secure, scalable, cloud-native development best practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent cross-functional communication with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with software architecture, system design, scalability, and hands-on delivery.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with distributed/service-oriented systems and asynchronous, event-driven communication.
  • Ability to work across multiple codebases and ramp quickly.
  • Comfort using AI tools with strong engineering judgment (validate output, know when to rely/avoid).

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience deploying/operating workloads on AWS and Azure.
  • Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
  • Experience integrating with third-party/vendor-delivered services.
  • Strong web security fundamentals and a track record of improving security across a codebase.
  • Experience with design systems/component libraries and advanced frontend tooling.
  • Experience with scalability/resilience/performance at scale.
  • Experience with event streaming/messaging systems such as Apache Pulsar or Apache Kafka.
