About the role

Role: Senior Software Engineer

Outmarket AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own key parts of its AI-powered product end to end—from design through delivery, operations, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, build, and operation of features spanning AI, backend, and frontend
  • Make pragmatic architecture decisions and drive them to production
  • Set and raise quality standards across the team (code quality, testing, reliability)
  • Mentor less-senior engineers and perform reviews to keep velocity high
  • Partner closely with founders on high-leverage technical problems
  • Own core systems and features as the company scales

Requirements

  • 4+ years building and shipping production software
  • Deep proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
  • Strong SQL and system design skills
  • Proven ability to own features end to end in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to turn ambiguous, messy problems into reliable, shipped systems

Nice to Have (Bonus)

  • Experience with LLM-integrated products
  • Postgres and/or ClickHouse
  • React at depth
  • Early-stage startup experience
