About the role

Role: Senior Software Engineer

Outmarket AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own key parts of its AI-powered product end to end—from design through delivery, operations, and quality.

Responsibilities

Lead design, build, and operation of features spanning AI, backend, and frontend
Make pragmatic architecture decisions and drive them to production
Set and raise quality standards across the team (code quality, testing, reliability)
Mentor less-senior engineers and perform reviews to keep velocity high
Partner closely with founders on high-leverage technical problems
Own core systems and features as the company scales

Requirements

4+ years building and shipping production software
Deep proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
Strong SQL and system design skills
Proven ability to own features end to end in a fast-moving environment
Ability to turn ambiguous, messy problems into reliable, shipped systems

Nice to Have (Bonus)

Experience with LLM-integrated products
Postgres and/or ClickHouse
React at depth
Early-stage startup experience
