Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (full-stack)

Join NewRich Network as an early hire to help shape both the product and the team’s culture. This is a hands-on role where you contribute directly to production code across the stack, with strong emphasis on ownership, shipping, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP 8 / Laravel 10, Node.js, Golang, and MySQL
Build and optimize APIs and improve performance, scalability, and reliability
Work across the full product stack, including React frontend development
Improve workflows, documentation, and engineering processes
Take ownership of unblocking yourself and moving work forward

Requirements

5+ years as a software developer with a proven project track record
Strong knowledge of PHP 8, Laravel 9+ / Laravel 10, React.js 18+, and MySQL
Strong knowledge of Golang and Gin (or comparable Golang frameworks)
Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and Git
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS (or similar cloud)
Solid database design and optimization skills
Experience with PHPUnit (or similar testing frameworks)
Good understanding of web application security
Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Comfort moving across the stack rather than staying siloed

Nice to Have

Streaming/video tech: WebRTC, FFMPEG, HLS, SRT, RTMP, DRM
Node.js/Express
GitHub Actions
NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
Experience with multi-service/microservices architectures
Familiarity with AWS services like ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Amazon MQ, Lambda
Infrastructure as Code (especially CloudFormation-style templates)
Experience improving CI/CD and GitHub Actions workflows
Automated testing/quality tooling: Vitest, Playwright, ESLint/Prettier, Pint, Psalm
