About the role

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer working remotely (EST hours) on full-stack applications with a focus on Salesforce development and integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable full-stack applications.
Build Salesforce solutions centered on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (objects, automation, metadata configuration, platform limits, multi-object data models).
Develop UI components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura.
Implement backend logic with Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs, scheduled jobs) following governor limit best practices.
Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
Create automated workflows using Flow Builder and Approval Processes.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform data migrations and maintain data integrity using Data Loader and Workbench.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
Manage Salesforce deployments using GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines across sandbox and production.
Apply strong Salesforce Platform Security practices.

Required Skills

Salesforce integration patterns using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Platform Events.
Salesforce security architecture knowledge including:
- CRUD/FLS enforcement
- Sharing model and role hierarchy
- Apex sharing and with/without sharing
- Login & session security
Experience configuring Connected Apps for secure integrations (including MFA and recommended security settings).
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams (backlog grooming, story pointing, sprint-based delivery).
Hands-on GitHub Actions CI/CD experience for Salesforce deployments.
Strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

API security, authentication, and identity (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, connected apps, external credentials).
Experience with Salesforce Agentforce (AI Agents, topics/actions, and Service Cloud workflow integration).

Experience / Education

4+ years full-stack development experience (preferably in an Azure environment).
2+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience.
