About the role

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer to build modern, AI-enabled software solutions in a remote-first environment. You’ll work with clients and cross-functional teams to shape products from discovery to production, combining engineering depth with product thinking and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality full-stack applications with strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Build backend services using Python and Node.js.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using React (or similar frameworks).
  • Contribute to architecture decisions by breaking down complex problems and guiding feature-level implementation.
  • Implement and maintain robust automated testing practices aligned with delivery priorities.
  • Understand and support infrastructure and deployment (cloud, containers, and infrastructure-as-code).
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows responsibly, with critical evaluation of outputs.
  • Partner with clients: understand business challenges, provide technical guidance, and influence product decisions.
  • Create prototypes/POCs/demos to explore new technology opportunities.
  • Mentor teammates and promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience building production-ready full-stack web applications.
  • Strong backend proficiency in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript (or comparable technologies).
  • Frontend experience with React (or Angular/Vue.js or similar).
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, modular design, and testing strategies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Ability to reason about scalability, reliability, deployments, and production operations.
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools and integrating AI into development workflows responsibly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agentic workflows and AI tooling beyond basic code assistance.
