Senior Software Engineer - Javascript (Remote- US only)

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on Prebid & Header Bidding for website monetization. You’ll be a subject-matter expert in the Prebid ecosystem and help build and maintain high-quality solutions that operate at massive scale across publishers’ sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as a hands-on senior developer: write and ship production code daily.
• Review peers’ pull requests and collaborate to maintain quality across the codebase.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on Prebid.js and Prebid Server.
• Drive strategy and architecture for header bidding wrapper end-to-end, including:
  • wrapper architecture and release cycle
  • evaluating/integrating new features
  • making key design decisions
• Stay current on Prebid.js / Prebid Server releases, OpenRTB spec changes, and emerging header bidding standards; translate them into platform upgrades.
• Work daily with Google Ad Manager (GAM) and relevant ad technologies including GPT and the IMA SDK.
• Maintain high code quality for client-side monetization scripts that run on thousands of publisher sites.
• Own on-page performance by measuring and protecting Core Web Vitals and resource usage (e.g., INP, LCP, CLS, memory, execution time, network overhead).
• Take ownership of deployed solutions to ensure reliability and address production issues.
