Senior Software Engineer - Javascript (Remote- US only)

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript) focused on Prebid & Header Bidding for client-side monetization.

Responsibilities

• Act as a hands-on senior engineer, writing production code daily and reviewing peers’ pull requests.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on Prebid.js and Prebid Server.
• Own the header bidding wrapper end-to-end, including:
  • Architecture and release cycle
  • Evaluation and integration of new features
  • Key design decisions
• Stay current with and apply updates from:
  • Prebid.js / Prebid Server releases
  • OpenRTB specification changes
  • Emerging header bidding standards
• Work daily with Google Ad Manager (GAM), GPT, and the IMA SDK.
• Maintain high-quality, production-grade client-side scripts that monetize publisher sites at massive scale.
• Own client-side script on-page performance, including protection of Core Web Vitals (INP, LCP, CLS), plus memory usage, script execution time, and network overhead.

Requirements

• Significant JavaScript experience.
• In-depth understanding of auction lifecycle and the header bidding / ad tech ecosystem.
• Experience with client-side monetization and ad technology scripting.
• Strong autonomy and proactive problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves (implied by responsibilities)

• Deep knowledge of GAM features such as line item architecture, key-value targeting, unified auction dynamics, and Unified Pricing Rules.
• Familiarity with Prebid modules such as identity, consent, floors, and analytics.
