About the role

Role Overview

Join InterEx Group as a Senior Software Engineer and lead a close-knit set of engineering teams to build the future of its fundraiser management platform. The role offers the option to be fully remote.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, high-throughput software
Implement scalable and resilient solutions using a variety of technologies
Be hands-on across design, development, testing, and delivery
Mentor junior engineers to support a continuous growth culture
Partner with leadership to ensure operational success
Improve designs, processes, and product outcomes by reducing cost and increasing efficiency, quality

Minimum Qualifications

Expert proficiency in one or more of:
- JavaScript (Node.js), JavaScript (React), PHP
- Relational databases: MySQL/Postgres
- NoSQL document stores
Experience with event-driven technologies, especially Apache Kafka
Experience authoring technical documentation and requirements
Experience transitioning from monolithic systems to microservices
Has led engineers to successful project completion
Experience with asynchronous programming
Experience writing unit tests
Strong knowledge of software design patterns, API interactions, and the software development lifecycle
BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with AWS or other cloud services
Familiarity with: GraphQL, GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Heap, Split.io, Datadog
Experience creating/improving cloud-based infrastructure
