Role overview
Fetch is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II for UI Foundations, part of the Platform team. This role focuses on building the internal developer platform and cross-surface building blocks that connect backend services to web and mobile clients.
What you’ll work on
- Fullstack platform tooling and internal developer workflows
- Dashboard generation, templating, and deployments
- Building shared application patterns and auth modernization
- Enhancing testing capabilities and AI-native developer workflows
- Generating TypeScript clients from service contracts
- Improving how engineers discover, implement, document, roll out, and adopt platform capabilities
Collaboration
- Work closely with frontend, backend, mobile, platform, security, and engineering leadership
- Partner across teams to improve how fullstack systems are built and operated at scale

- Dashboard generation, templating, and deployments

Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience building internal developer platforms or developer-facing systems
- Ability to tackle ambiguous platform problems and drive work from discovery to adoption
- Strong focus on developer experience (DX) as a product
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with auth modernization and OIDC integrations
- Experience with generated client SDKs from service contracts
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and browser/e2e tooling
- Interest in AI-native workflows
