About the role
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer I at Softheon, you will lead significant parts of the software development effort. You’ll design, develop, and refine solutions that advance Softheon’s healthcare technology offerings, influence product direction, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated software solutions using .NET
- Propose and evaluate innovative approaches to complex software problems
- Lead small projects by managing timelines and deliverables independently
- Provide technical authority on application and feature design/development
- Mentor junior engineers and help teams apply best practices
- Use advanced problem-solving and data analysis to drive solutions
- Collaborate strategically with senior internal/external partners and influence stakeholders
- Partner with the Talent team to support hiring (e.g., participating in interviews) and identify top talent
- Support and reinforce company culture through collaboration and engagement
- Be available for on-call duty during peak periods to resolve critical issues
Requirements / Additional Notes
- Remote-first, with in-person attendance at headquarters ~2 times per year (plus possible additional travel)
- Remote role still requires occasional on-site presence for collaboration and planning
