Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and improve digital products that help shippers optimize global freight movement. You’ll work across the stack—APIs and infrastructure to user interfaces—and help shape scalable systems and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to build reliable, scalable systems
• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of new product features and services
• Build solutions to complex industry problems alongside market experts
• Apply cloud-native approaches to modern infrastructure
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive automated tests
• Perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and elevate engineering practices
• Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and process improvements
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support and maintain production systems

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in product-oriented or client-facing teams
• Ability to build and deploy applications using modern tools and frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, simplify complex problems, and balance short-term and long-term goals
• Collaborative working style (e.g., pairing, whiteboarding, learning from diverse perspectives)
