Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain digital products using modern tools and technologies. You’ll apply scientific and technical knowledge to software design, implementation, and testing, while ensuring measurable outcomes for applications in production.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain digital products
Apply scientific/technical knowledge to implementation and testing
Own and manage applications in production, ensuring measurable outcomes
Support the Enterprise Payments organization for seamless customer payment processing
Collaborate with teams to solve problems and follow best practices
Practice paired programming and test-driven development (TDD)

Requirements

4+ years of software development experience with Java and J2EE (e.g., Spring Boot)
Experience with REST APIs and microservice architecture
Solid knowledge of relational database design and SQL
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development concepts
Experience with TDD and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps methodologies/tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins)
Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
