Role Overview
Senior Software Engineer for a Haystack partner. You will work on Go-based healthcare platforms, building and improving backend services for cloud deployments and global healthcare systems.
Responsibilities
- Learn and improve existing healthcare platforms built with Go
- Design and implement cloud-based services and components in Go
- Build high-volume, low-latency services for a global platform
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and integrate APIs
- Ensure performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high code quality
- Contribute to key architectural and operational decisions
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment
- Strong Go experience with idiomatic Go and best practices
- Experience designing scalable architectures (for existing and new systems)
- Experience with asynchronous messaging and complex backend processing jobs
- Practical experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field
