Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Join the team building and modernizing the frontend of a large, mature payment platform. You’ll deliver user-facing checkout and payment experiences used by millions of people.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across guest-facing checkout and payment flows.
• Modernize a large frontend codebase, including migrating legacy Redux/state-management patterns to current standards.
• Take payment features from design through launch on high-traffic consumer surfaces.
• Ensure accessibility compliance on shipped UI (targeting WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Work across layers by reading backend code and tracing a UI feature into the underlying services.

Requirements

• 7–10 years building production web frontends with React and TypeScript.
• Deep Redux experience, including refactoring/migrating established Redux codebases.
• Strong CSS and layout fundamentals, with a demonstrated track record of shipping accessible UI (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Ability to ramp up quickly on large, unfamiliar codebases.
• Ability to follow end-to-end feature behavior from UI into backend/services.

Nice to Have
