About the role

Role Overview

Join a distributed, async team to build and modernize the frontend powering guest checkout and payment flows.

Responsibilities

Build and ship features across guest-facing checkout and payment flows used by millions.
Modernize a large, mature frontend codebase, including migrating legacy state-management patterns to current standards.
Own features from design to launch on high-traffic consumer surfaces.
Ensure accessibility with WCAG 2.1 AA standards on all shipped UI.
Trace features end-to-end by reading backend code and following how UI maps to underlying services.
Ramp up quickly on large, unfamiliar codebases.

Requirements

7–10 years building production web frontends with React and TypeScript.
Deep Redux experience, including refactoring and/or migrating large established Redux codebases.
Strong CSS/layout fundamentals and a proven track record shipping accessible UI to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Ability to read backend code and connect UI features to service behavior.

Nice to Have

Experience with large-scale consumer checkout/payment platforms (implied by domain and focus).
