About the role

Role Overview

Join a distributed, async team to build and modernize frontend payment experiences used by millions of people. You’ll ship guest-facing checkout and payment flow features and help evolve a large, mature frontend codebase.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features across guest-facing checkout and payment flows
  • Modernize a large frontend codebase, migrating legacy state-management patterns to current standards
  • Deliver payment features end-to-end from design through launch on high-traffic consumer surfaces
  • Ensure accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA for all shipped UI
  • Trace features end-to-end by reading backend code to understand how UI maps to services behind it

Requirements

  • 7–10 years building production web frontends with React and TypeScript
  • Deep Redux experience, including refactoring/migrating established Redux codebases
  • Strong CSS and layout fundamentals
  • Proven track record shipping accessible UI meeting WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Ability to ramp up quickly on large, unfamiliar codebases

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated experience working across UI and services (reading backend code and tracing features)
