About the role
Role Overview
You will learn and improve existing Go-based healthcare platforms, designing and implementing backend services for cloud-based systems supporting a global healthcare platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement services and components using Go for cloud-based platforms
- Build high-volume, low-latency backend services
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and integrate APIs
- Ensure performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining strong code quality
- Contribute to key architectural and operational decisions
- Work on asynchronous messaging and backend processing jobs
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment
- Strong Go skills (idiomatic Go and best practices)
- Experience with scalable system architecture/design (existing and new systems)
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex asynchronous messaging and backend processing jobs
- Practical experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
