About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer (Senior to Staff) working fully remote (United States) with a high-growth AI startup. You will own the frontend from the ground up for a 0-1 customer-facing AI-native product, partnering closely with founders and product teams.

Responsibilities

Own frontend development end-to-end for a greenfield product build
Shape product architecture decisions early and drive frontend implementation
Build interfaces that simplify complex AI capabilities for end users
Design and scale the frontend to support large, concurrent user bases
Collaborate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities shift

Requirements

6+ years of frontend engineering experience
At least one 0-1 product build experience
Deep proficiency in React and modern TypeScript
Proven ability to scale frontend infrastructure for high concurrency
Strong UI/UX sensibility and care about what is shipped

Nice-to-Haves

Experience integrating LLM APIs
Experience with streaming interfaces
Experience with real-time data pipelines

Compensation & Benefits

$300,000 base salary + performance bonus
