About the role

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend development expertise. You will help build scalable systems and drive engineering excellence, particularly across APIs, distributed systems, platforms, or engineering frameworks.

What You’ll Do

Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs
Create robust, production-grade applications
Architect APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Collaborate with product, data, and design teams
Write clean, production-grade code
Contribute to system design and technical decisions
Mentor junior engineers

What You Bring

7+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with Python and/or Java
Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership mindset

Good to Have

Exposure to Golang and TypeScript
Experience in high-growth SaaS environments
Exposure to data platforms or analytics systems
Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers

Compensation

Base salary range: $191,360 - $287,040 (annual)
