About the role

Role Overview

Join Mediafly as a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) (full remote). You will evolve the platform behind Value Calculators, working across a Java backend and React/TypeScript frontend to deliver scalable, high-impact features.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of full-stack features using Java and React
Define and drive architectural decisions and contribute to architectural direction
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and go-to-market stakeholders to shape technical approaches
Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and support best practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Troubleshoot issues and work to improve system reliability, performance, and observability

Requirements

Fullstack development experience with Java and React
5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2–3 years building SaaS products
System design experience building scalable, reliable, secure architectures and improving legacy codebases
TypeScript and modern frontend development practices
Strong collaboration and communication skills across product, design, and infrastructure partners
Curiosity and strong problem-solving in complex systems

Nice-to-haves / Additional Skills

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, Copilot) to accelerate research and development
DevOps practices, CI/CD, and AWS infrastructure familiarity
Performance optimization and observability experience (e.g., Datadog)
Experience with Salesforce integrations
