About the role

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) working on high-impact, real-time systems for roadside assistance and logistics. You’ll design and build scalable frontend and backend architecture, collaborate with technical leadership and cross-functional teams, and help evolve a highly scalable platform.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications (frontend, backend, APIs, distributed systems)
Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React and TypeScript
Develop and evolve backend services using Ruby on Rails and Java for high-throughput, real-time operations
Architect and optimize APIs, microservices, and real-time systems focused on dispatch, routing, and logistics performance
Improve reliability through observability, monitoring, and proactive risk/scaling constraint mitigation
Define and implement automated testing frameworks and CI/CD quality gates
Own technical domains end-to-end, considering downstream system impacts and business alignment
Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering to deliver customer-facing features
Support AI-driven initiatives and internal automation to increase development velocity and operational efficiency
Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural discussions and engineering standards

Requirements

8+ years shipping scalable web applications and distributed systems
Strong backend expertise in Ruby on Rails and Java
Advanced frontend experience with React and TypeScript
Proven experience with AWS (or similar cloud infrastructure)
Strong system design and high-scale distributed systems background
Domain experience in logistics/routing/mapping/dispatch is highly desirable
Experience building automated testing frameworks and establishing CI/CD practices
Strong understanding of system dependencies and prevention of cascading failures
Observability, monitoring, and performance debugging experience
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-haves

Experience in logistics, routing, mapping, dispatch, or related domains
Interest in AI-assisted development workflows
