Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack will lead development of Included Health’s products in a fast, accessible, and thoughtful way. You’ll partner closely with Product and Design to shape application design, user experience, developer workflows, deployment strategies, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Design, and clinical staff to understand stakeholder needs and build services/features that help deliver care
• Own work end-to-end, from idea inception through production
• Write and maintain well-tested code across multiple services
• Build and maintain metrics, monitoring, performance, and security for systems you own
• Create foundational data models that support flexibility and operational visibility

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining consumer-grade web applications
• Full-stack web development experience with modern frontend frameworks (React required)
• Strong programming skills and CS fundamentals; experience building highly reliable software
• Hands-on backend development experience
• Experience building complex, scalable, reliable services
• Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Included Health’s current technologies: React, Go, JavaScript, Rails, GraphQL, Docker, AWS
• Leadership experience

Compensation & Benefits (summary)

• US base salary targets (by geographic zone): $138,380–$254,111 + equity + benefits
