Role overview

Greenlight is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) for the Web Core team. You’ll work on a horizontal platform team building and evolving foundational systems that power web experiences across the organization, translating mobile capabilities to the web with strong UX.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of high-impact web experiences.
Drive technical strategy: define engineering standards/best practices and set the technical vision for the web platform.
Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across the platform.
Manage technical debt and champion code quality.
Architect and evolve systems for scalability.
Design and develop backend services for web products, focusing on reliability, performance, and observability.

What you’ll bring

7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership.
Deep expertise in React/Next.js (Remix mentioned as well).
Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript/Kotlin.
Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with A/B testing/experimentation and modern MarTech tools such as Segment, Optimizely, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
